The Wedding Singer, Hessle Theatre Company
Sarah Lucy will be working as Musical Director for HTC's Autumn musical, The Wedding Singer - a hilarious 80s romp, taking place at the Truck Theatre in Hull.

Assistant Musical Director appointment, Barnsley Singers
Sarah Lucy begins work with the adult choir, Barnsley Singers, as their assistant musical director. She works as a third of the musical team, taking sectionals, conducting, arranging and acting as a vocal coach ahead of workshops and performances.
Saturday 28th, 6.30pm
The Mother, Kantos Chamber Choir
Sarah Lucy joins forces with Manchester-based chamber choir, Kantos, to perform Bertolt Brecht's The Mother alongside the BBC Philharmonic, conductor HK Gruber and lead Maxine Peake in Hull University's Middleton Hall.
Sunday 13th, 7pm
United Nations concert, Barnsley Youth Choir with Drakensberg Boys' Choir
BYC and DBC perform together as the boys' choir visit Barnsley whilst on their tour of the UK. A reciprocating friendship concert after we had visited their hometown during August when BYC were touring South Africa. Sarah Lucy works in her Assistant Musical Director role, supervising, conducting and performing.
Sunday 20th, 1pm
Stockport Singfest, Barnsley Singers
BS, along with the National Teachers' Choir and the Hallé Ancoats Community Choir, gather together for a day of workshops and informal performances for each other in the Stockport Music Service premises. Workshops lead by each group leader; Luke Mather, Ula Weber and Stuart Overington.
Saturday 30th, 7pm
Holy Mystery: A concert for Advent, Cordialis
A choral concert performed by newly-formed octet, Cordialis - a group of singers drawn from cathedral and collegiate choirs across the UK. Sarah Lucy returns to her university city to perform in St. Peter's Lutton Place, in Edinburgh.
Sunday 1st, 6pm
An Advent Meditation, The Oto Collective
A concert marking the beginning of Advent as part of the St. Giles' at Six regular concert series, presented in St. Giles' Cathedral, Edinburgh. Sarah Lucy performs as part of a vocal quartet, with works including plainchant recitations, 'cello and piano improvisations and early polyphony.

Christmas concerts, Barnsley Youth Choirs
The annual Christmas concerts held at Emmanuel Church, Barnsley. Two concert each held by the Children and Junior, and the Intermediate and Senior choirs. Sarah Lucy working in an Assistant Musical Director role, supervising, conducting, playing and performing.

The annual Christmas concert held at Emmanuel Church, Barnsley. Sarah Lucy working in the Assistant Musical Director role for her first official performance with the choir, supervising, conducting, playing and performing.

Solo festive vocal set, The Pourhouse, Hessle
Sarah Lucy presents a two-hour set at local artisan craft beer bar in Hessle. Performing festive favourites along with some easy-listening jazz, vintage and pop numbers - with mince pies and mulled wine available. Not a night to miss!
Saturday 21st, 7pm
Unplugged Christmas concert, Barnsley Youth Choir, Senior Choir
For the first time, the Senior Choir perform an 'unplugged' Christmas concert in St. Mary's Church, Barnsley - no microphones, and no band (only piano). An atmospheric candlelit performance; Sarah Lucy working as a conductor and singer as part of this festive concert.
Saturday 18th, 7.30pm
January concert, Hull Music Recital Club
Sarah Lucy will be performing as a guest soloist for the Hull Music Recital Club, accompanied by Margaret Pearson. She will present a range of arias and song for mezzo-soprano, exploring different genres and vocal styles.
Saturday 1st, 7.30pm
Mozart Requiem concert, Newcastle Choral Society
Sarah Lucy joins a quartet of soloists to perform both the Mozart Requiem and Vivaldi Beatus Vir along with the Newcastle Choral Society, Orchestra North East and conductor Mark Anyan. The performance will take place in the Banqueting Suite of the Newcastle Civic Centre.

Shrek the musical, Hessle Theatre Company
Sarah Lucy will be working as Co-Musical Director for HTC's Spring musical, Shrek the musical. The show has been in production since October 2019, with Sarah Lucy working alongside fellow Co-MD Alan Drever-Smith and Director Martin Beaumont. Sarah Lucy will be performing in the show come April, in Hull New Theatre.
